Warranty Terms and Conditions
- Atlantic Company guarantees the electric water heater against manufacturing defects in the tank and components (heater, thermostat, and valve) according to the attached table.
- This warranty is valid within the Arab Republic of Egypt.
- The warranty certificate is valid from the date of installation or a maximum of 3 months from the date of production. The certificate details must be filled in by authorized Atlantic service centers.
- The warranty covers the following:
- The warranty includes the costs of inspection, examination, and travel for the service center representative or technician.
- The warranty includes the costs of transporting the product for repair from the buyer's location to the warranty service center and its return.
- If malfunctions affecting the functional performance of the product recur more than twice consecutively within the first year or the warranty period, whichever is less, the product will be replaced with a new one without charge.
- Atlantic Company undertakes to provide spare parts for this product free of charge during the warranty period against manufacturing defects according to the conditions, and spare parts are available at cost after the warranty period expires.
- The estimated lifespan of the water heater is (three years) after the warranty period expires, and spare parts for this product are provided at the customer's expense.
- The warranty does not cover the following:
- Irreparable devices, such as devices installed in hard-to-reach places where spare parts are difficult to replace.
- Devices exposed internally to water that does not meet natural standards or has a composition different from that of fresh water.
- Devices installed without the safety valve supplied with the water heater, and in case of damage, it is replaced by Atlantic Company at the customer's expense.
- Devices installed outside the building, or damage during transport (any damage to the outer casing, and the plastic from the top and bottom).
- Damage due to natural disasters, including fire.
- Devices without a data plate (device number and model) or any modification in the warranty certificate data.
- Devices that have been serviced by the customer. The warranty does not apply to water heaters used for commercial purposes.
- The customer bears the costs of maintenance and travel fees resulting from a malfunction in the power source or water faults (leaks in connections, high water pressure, or defects in plumbing connections).
- To maintain the customer's warranty rights, the device must be installed by authorized Atlantic service centers.
The customer must change the magnesium rod once every two years at most at the customer's expense, and failure to comply with this condition will result in the water heater being excluded from warranty coverage. - Please read the user manual supplied with the device carefully. The booklet contains instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance.
